諾奧馬：嘉馬被捕 證明大馬是法治社會
城市和諧、房屋及地方政府部長丹斯裡諾奧馬說，「紅衫軍」領袖拿督斯裡嘉馬尤諾斯遭警方逮捕，證明大馬是法治社會，但他認為，嘉馬被逮捕並不代表他有罪，而必須經由法庭審訊和證明。
如果他（嘉馬）有罪，就讓警方和法庭去證實和判他罪名，就算他被逮捕及扣留，也並不代表他做錯事。
他重申，大家應該秉持著被逮捕並不代表有罪的原則，一切需依照法律程序調查，直到證明他有罪。
部長今日在第6區濕貨市場進行工作訪問後，在記者會上這麼說。
嘉馬去年12月尾因擅自率隊「取締」非法賭博中心，於上週四（2日）遭警方登門搜證後，再將他逮捕回警局作進一步調查。
警方週三再逮捕嘉馬的13名追隨者助查，其中4人獲釋，另9人則被延扣助查，這9人將在刑事法典第395（合夥搶劫）條文下被調查。
安邦推事庭週五批准警方延扣嘉馬5天，以協助調查此案。
嘉馬闖娛樂中心強取物品．副總警長：視為搶劫
嘉馬是於去年12月29日帶人「取締」安邦地區一間被指為賭博機中心的家庭娛樂中心，警方在日前採取逮捕行動逮捕嘉馬及9名男子助查。
因此警方於兩日前將嘉馬及其友人逮捕，以做進一步的調查。
他指出，警方同時也針對嘉馬指控有關家庭娛樂中心是賭博機中心一事展開調查，一旦發現嘉馬指控屬實，將依法採取行動。
嘉馬是於去年12月29日帶人「取締」安邦地區一間被指為賭博機中心的家庭娛樂中心，警方在日前採取逮捕行動逮捕嘉馬及9名男子助查。
嘉馬於昨日遭警方帶上安邦法庭延扣5天，而9名隨他進入家庭娛樂中心的男子則於前天起被延扣6天助查。
針對紅衫軍領袖拿督嘉馬涉嫌結夥搶劫被捕一案，全國副總警長丹斯裡諾拉昔解釋，雖然嘉馬聲稱要取締賭博機中心，但卻帶人硬闖家庭娛樂中心，還以暴力手法取走店內的值錢物品。
他說，在法律的定義上，這樣的行為就是搶劫。
「警方也接獲有關家庭娛樂中心業者的投報，指遺失了數樣貴重物品。」

The Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Minister said anyone who is arrested should not be seen as guilty until proven in court.
「Let the police and the courts prove and decide if he is guilty. Even if he has been arrested and remanded, it does not mean that he has done wrong.
「We should let the legal process take place and I wish to reiterate that the principle of 『innocent until proven guilty』 must be upheld,」 he said at a press conference after a working visit to the Section 16 wet market here Sunday.
Police arrested Jamal on Thursday while nine of his friends were arrested Wednesday night to assist in investigations into a theft that allegedly took place at an entertainment outlet in Ampang, one of several establishments that the Red Shirts had "raided" to expose supposed illegal activities.
One of the owners of the premises claimed that several items went missing after Jamal and his group had raided the outlet.
Jamal, who is also Sungai Besar Umno division chief, has been remanded for five days since Friday.
He and his friends are being investigated under Section 395 of the Penal Code for gang robbery.
Meanwhile, Noh said the ministry is finalising the guidelines to implement "Pasar Sejahtera (prosperity market)" that local councils will adopt while upgrading existing wet markets or building new ones.
「Under the Pasar Sejahtera concept, wet markets will not only sell fresh food and groceries but also have shops offering various goods as well as restaurants.
「The markets will be clean, comfortable, attractive, safe and convenient with infrastructure and in accordance to the needs of the multiracial community in Malaysia,」 he said.
Noh also announced a RM500,000 allocation for the Section 16 wet market to upgrade the premises, such as the roofing and parking area.
